"Throwback Thursday: Paid In Full"

Nowadays, when I create a new scene/file in my 3D software, I tend to have a certain ‘formula’ if you will when it comes to naming my files. Since I have so many ideas and generally create several in one day, I tend to just name the files with the date that it was created with year first, the month, then the day, and then and a corresponding 1, 2, 3 and so on. I’ve found that this format works best when sorting files in Windows. So when I go back to look for throwback images, I tend to search using a particular year. Apparently, 2017 was the year that I started to adopt this naming format so there are a few files that kind of get lost when I try to just search for 2017 in the scenes folder.

Anyway, before I start rambling on more than I already have, I found several ‘forgotten’ files and scenes when I was searching a few days ago and thought that I might as well use some of them as throwbacks. The scene for the image shown above was entitled “Paid In Full”, and since this scene was created nearly 4 years ago, to be perfectly honest, I don’t fully remember what this story was about. If my memory serves me correctly, and using my general thinking process when it comes to creating these types of scenes to fill in the pieces here and there, I believe that this story followed a group of three college coeds who were arrested while wandering the streets en route to a local night club by a group of corrupt officers and then sold into slavery after being sentenced to life in prison.

When I entered the file for this scene, the bondaged young woman above was named “Prisoner 3” (really creative, I know) and the authoritative woman had no name whatsoever, just Genesis 3 Female (which is basic ‘nomenclature’ for the series or generation of certain female characters within the program I use). So I’m not completely sure if the ‘authoritative woman’ was meant to be a purchaser of the bondaged coed, or a mere ‘auctioneer’ of sorts examining one of her victims, but I guess that can always be left up to the viewer’s imagination.

Alongside this scene, were a group of other scenes from the same story showing the two other coeds and a few others who were captured and ready to be sold, all of which wearing identical wardrobes to the girl you see above. Initially, this scene was just the two women, their clothing and the cuffs and chains around the coed, so just to give it a more interesting look, I added in a basic environment with some newer lighting. As you might be able to see, the skin textures on these girls are a bit more “cartoonish” (for lack of a better word) than some more modern creations of mine, mainly because they are older character generations. I could have updated them, but I thought I might leave them to capture some of the integrity of the throwback theme.

Hope you enjoy.
