This image was created a couple of years ago. The intention was to have this highlight the end of a short story where the young lady seen here gets ‘whisked’ into a magical world of some kind after finding a large, full standing mirror with special abilities to transport someone through space and time.
The goal was to have the mirror make a ‘rippling’ effect of some kind when the girl touched it. At the time, I did not find a way that I was happy with to create this effect, so I ended up abandoning the project and focused on something a little more productive. Now, I would likely be able to achieve this, so maybe it’s something I will try to accomplish in the future.
Basically, the young woman would lightly tap on the mirror to find out it was more of a liquid form, rather than a solid glass. She would ultimately reach her hand and arm in and pull them out, only to find that her wrist has been wrapped tightly in an elastic/latex type band, which would then forcefully pull her inside the mirror to a new world. In the blink of an eye, the young lady is thoroughly bound, gagged, strapped and suspended in a strange world with now way to escape.
