***VERY IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!!!***
Well, when it rains, it pours. As some of you might have found out, I have some bad news. As of this morning, PayPal has decided to freeze my account with them and any future funds that will be transferred from MartyrBondage.com, DA or PixIV to PayPal. Unfortunately, I have exhausted all other payment processor options available upon the inception of MB.com and PayPal was my only remaining option. Why it took them exactly 3 years (literally to the day (MartyrBondage was launched on August 1st, 2019)) to figure out what kind of content I was creating, I will never know.
I have no idea if this was due to the sale that I was starting today, the fact that I made a couple of refunds with some notes in the text (people always say that you aren’t supposed to add notes in PayPal, but I didn’t think the words “Refund” would raise any red flags) or if this is just some sort of crazy coincidence, but regardless, the result is the same.
So what does this all mean? To be perfectly honest, I don’t quite know 100%. I anticipate that anyone whose payments went through today prior to the freeze will be able to get access until the 1st of September. Anyone whose payments were supposed to go through tomorrow and everyday forward will likely have their payments declined. Likewise, I assume that any new payments/memberships will not be allowed to go through. This seriously could not happen at a worse time. Especially since I was just asking everyone to bear with me and be patient. I had planned on posting tons of stuff this week and throughout the month, and while I still will for those of you who still have memberships, it’s just very unfortunate as I was really hoping to kick things off again. If anybody has any insight, as in what kind of experience you have when you account is terminated, please let me know so I can help clue some of the other members into what they can expect.
Words cannot express how frustrated, angry, disappointed and confused I am. I received an email from PayPal around 10am today while I was at work. As I began reading it, I was in a bit of denial at first. Both because sometimes I get these stupid fake emails that my “Amazon account has been hacked.” or something stupid like that, and because I just couldn’t wrap my head around it. But it had a little too much personal information to be a scam, and as I signed on to my PayPal account, I found that it was in fact very true. I wouldn’t lie to you when I say that I started to feel sick to my stomach. I was standing up and I said to myself “I need to sit down.” I was literally that distraught over it. All sorts of thoughts began racing through my head. “What am I going to do?” “How did this even happen?” “Was it something I did?” “Was it something somebody else did?” The biggest problem is that shit doesn’t affect just MB.com, but the other mirror sites as well. They ALL use PayPal as their form of payment.
Man, what a very, very shitty past few weeks. This is just the icing on the cake. I’m trying to manage my way through this, but with everything else going on, I just really don’t need this right now. I’m still going to see what I can do though. I have reached out to a different webhost who specializes in this type of content. The same webhost that Chrissy, Shiny, Sandra Silvers and a plethora of other bondage producers use. So we know they’re bondage friendly. Just waiting to hear back. I can tell you this, without PayPal as a payment processor, MartyrBondage.com as we currently know it likely won’t be able to exist. The webhost I reached out to may be able to take my site on, but the format will likely be a bit different. But at the same time, this could be a blessing in disguise. There are a NUMBER of things that I am unhappy about with my current webhost, and maybe changing to a different one can help alleviate those issues. Fingers crossed.
So, what to expect in the next coming weeks.
If you are fortunate enough to have a membership that is currently active on MartyrBondage.com, I will continue to post as much as I can, as if this never happened. There was a bit of a glitch with the 50% off sale this morning, so I will refund those of you who paid full price 50% of your purchase cost, just please be patient with me while I handle all this other nonsense.
For those of you that are scheduled to renew their membership going forward, unfortunately, there is just nothing that I can do about this. As I said, I anticipate that your payments will likely get declined, therefore, the webhost automatically will not grant you access to MartyrBondage.com. For example, if your membership was set to renew on the 10th of August, you will likely have access until then, but after that, when your payment was supposed to automatically renew, the site will likely terminate your membership.
I will keep you all up to date with how the events unfold as much as I can. This is the absolute worst thing that could have happened when trying to start a sale. I’m truly so sorry for giving hope that you would be able to access the site for cheaper than usual, and then this. You have no idea how disappointed and frustrated I am. If and when I am able to get the new site going, I will try to find a way to make it up to you all.
Thank you all so very much for your understanding through these completely unfortunate times for me. I appreciate your support & patience more than you even know.
