"Higher Standards - 6"

Ashley comes to a halt as she reaches the door and grabs the steel bars with each of her hands. She pulls on the bars with all her might to open the door, but the metal just rattles on itself as the door is locked securely.

“What the…?” Ashley questions aloud in a confused manner. She glances up the staircase she descended to reach the hallway, and she realizes that too has been closed shut.

“Hey! Let me out of here!” Ashley shouts up the staircase, seemingly to no one.

“*sigh*” Ashley sighs with a grunt before releasing her grip on the steel bars. She turns around and looks down the long hallway to the other end. She has no choice but to proceed further into the underground corridor.
